Jan Ruzich, MSW, LPC

Jan Ruzich is a Master Social Worker and Licensed Professional Counselor at Feeling Whole Counseling Services. She is educated and qualified to perform the service of counseling but believes it is important to be trustworthy and good at what you do.

"I respect how difficult it is to pick up the phone and call a counselor for help." Jans goal is to help her clients feel comfortable, safe, hopeful, and want to make sure they feel as though they made the right decision to call.

Jan is experienced in working with children of all ages and has worked at both the junior high and high school levels as a social worker. Jan has a Masters degree in school social work and, for a few years, was a substitute teacher in school district 54 for Kindergarten through sixth grades.

In Illinois, Jan is an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) and has worked with children and adults in an office setting for the past few years. The adults seen are on a one to one basis, some are married with children, others are single. The counseling services cover various issues that have created anxiety, depression, anger, and an overall feeling of being "stuck" in life. "We work together to find the answers" - Jan.

Jan is married and a mother of 2 very busy teenage children, which as given her the real life lessons in which she uses to support her clients. Jan considers herself a spiritual woman and is a certified Stephans Minister.
